This is a painting I've done of my 3 children as an example of a "figurative landscape" painting for the Dodge Nature Center's fall benefit gala this weekend. I'm the featured artist this year and will be auctioning a commissioned painting of your children painted loosely that captures their character and energy in a setting. As I started this painting before there was any detail on the figures, my students easily could identify which child was which when it was in a sketchy state. I'm happy to have captured my 3!
