Orange Slices

This is a daily exercise painting that I wanted to play with a red undertone instead of my usual raw umber toning.  I love the simplicity and peaks of other colors in the slices.  Nice for a kitchen!

Cow20!  So much character they have!  I can't paint enough and people can't get enough!
Paint is still very wet, so will need an extra week to dry.  So bid accordingly.  Good luck!

Thanks for viewing!  Email me if you have any questions.

Please understand colors may vary slightly between the actual painting and the image on your screen due to results from the camera and your monitor settings.

"Momma's Glasses"

I loved this shot of my daughter Olivia from a couple of years ago when we ate at a place in Minneapolis called Annie's Tavern.  We were on an outdoor deck under red and white umbrellas eating burgers and malts.  Olivia picked up my sunglasses and was trying them on.  Wanted to capture her puckered lips and child-like hand - the plumpy fingers that I love so much!

Another of many I've painted!  This is such a gentle face - I had to paint it!
